Brass Trip Buzz, 2-1

The New Orleans Brass did just enough to secure a 2-1 victory over the Salt Lake City Buzz at Bay Hawks Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Paul Wagner, who captured player of the game honors. New Orleans reliever Tim Davis picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Tyler Green was saddled with the loss. The Brass, at 39-27, lead by one game in their division.
New Orleans took a 2-1 lead on Joe Oliver's 3rd home run of the season. The solo home run came off Salt Lake City pitcher Tyler Green in the bottom of the seventh.
