Creams Get Win, Extend Streak to 5
|
Milwaukee starter Kenny Rogers had a strong outing against the Charlotte Knights at Milwaukee County Stadium. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 4-1 win. Rogers picked up the win for Milwaukee, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 3-2. The Creams, now 16-8, have been red hot.
One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd in the bottom of the third inning. Facing Charlotte hurler Ron Robinson, Mark Loretta, who is tied for 6th in the FL in hits with 29, hit a sacrifice fly. The Creams went on to win.
"I like how we're playing right now," said Rogers.
