Warriors Top Buzz Behind Urbina, 3-0
|
The Walla Walla Warriors got a magnificent performance from pitcher Ugueth Urbina, who stifled the Salt Lake City offense en route to a 3-0 Warriors win at Ballpark of Milton. Pete Young earned his 2nd save in 3 tries. The losing streak for Salt Lake City has now reached 4 games.
Salt Lake City could barely put a dent in Urbina. The right-hander tossed 102 pitches over 8 innings for the Warriors, allowing only 4 hits.
"We had a good game plan," Urbina said, "and we were able to execute it."
