Brass Win at San Antonio , 6-4
|
Eric Owens did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the San Antonio Missions from losing, 6-4, to the New Orleans Brass at Texans Stadium. Owens went 4-5 with 4 singles. He scored 2 times. Trevor Wilson, credited with the win, is now 8-2. He allowed 3 runs on 11 hits in 8 innings. The first-place Brass have a one-game lead in their division.
In the top of the second, with the game tied, San Antonio allowed the Brass to go up, 2-0, on a San Antonio error.
"I like our moxie," said Brass manager .
