The Idaho Falls Chukars racked up a win at Alleycats Ballpark, bumping off the Omaha Storm Chasers, 3-2. Phil Leftwich, who started for Idaho Falls, pitched effectively for his team. Idaho Falls now sits at 33-43, while Omaha falls to 30-46.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 12th inning, when Idaho Falls left fielder Dwight Smith, facing Mike Bovee, had a run-scoring single. It gave the Chukars the 3-2 win.

"I was a little disappointed," said Omaha manager . "We could've and should've scored more runs."
