Brad Rigby pitched a gem to lead Tacoma to a 5-1 victory over the Colorado Springs Sky Fox. Rigby went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 2. His record improves to 4-5. Tacoma is 29-49 and Colorado Springs, with the loss, 28-50.

The Rainiers beat the Sky Fox with some clutch hitting. The home run by Micah Franklin in the bottom of the third is a good example. With two down, Franklin gave his team the lead, 4-1, when he came through with the big hit.
