Palmeiro Makes 400 HR Mark
It's official. Rafael Palmeiro of the Los Angeles Dodgers hit his 400th home run tonight.

The Los Angeles Dodgers took on the Arizona Diamondbacks and downed them 10-2, but the big story of the night was the milestone home run for Palmeiro. He rounded the bases with a smile and politely stepped on home plate and walked back to the dugout.

"400 is a big number, and I am thankful for the ability to get to this milestone. But it's all about the team today, my accomplishments are just one piece to the Dodgers puzzle."

The Dodgers first baseman went 1-for-3 with 1 home run and 1 RBI as the Los Angeles Dodgers topped the Arizona Diamondbacks.

In his career Palmeiro has hit for a .261 average and totaled 1701 hits, 400 home runs and 1116 RBIs.
