Buzz Topple Rainiers with Late Rally

Salt Lake City center fielder Reggie B. Williams picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Tacoma Rainiers, 7-6. Bob Ayrault got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. The Buzz bumped their record to 44-38 with this latest triumph.
Williams contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Salt Lake City in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 3-1, Williams took a changeup from Brad Rigby and stroked the home run to left. His 7th home run of the season allowed the Buzz to leap in front, 4-3.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Salt Lake City manager .
