Tucson first baseman Reggie Jefferson made his presence felt in the 12-5 Tarantulas triumph over the Walla Walla Warriors. Jefferson went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. The Tarantulas now own a record of 43-40.

With Tucson leading 6-3 in the bottom of the fourth, Jefferson hit a 3-run home run off Walla Walla hurler Curt Leskanic. It was the 13th home run of the season for Jefferson and put his team ahead, 9-3.
