Spirited fans at Alleycats Ballpark greeted the Idaho Falls Chukars for their clash with the Colorado Springs Sky Fox.

Behind a solid performance from shortstop Hiroki Kokubo, the Colorado Springs Sky Fox defeated the Idaho Falls Chukars, 8-4. Kokubo went 3-4 with a triple and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Sky Fox. Colorado Springs reliever Everett Stull picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Rich Hunter was saddled with the loss.

The result might have been different for Colorado Springs, had it not been for Steve Pegues. The right fielder produced a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put the Sky Fox ahead, 2-1. For the game, Pegues had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Kokubo told the Colorado Springs Herald. "It's as simple as that."

Colorado Springs now has a 3-game win streak.
