The Tacoma Rainiers blasted the Idaho Falls Chukars, 14-3. Micah Franklin was one of the hitting stars. He went 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 6 for Tacoma. Carlos Reyes picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-7. Rich Hunter was tagged with the loss. With the victory, the Rainiers record now stands at 34-55.

With two out in the bottom of the third, Greg O'Halloran had a game-changing hit. The Rainiers catcher slammed a 2-run single off Rich Hunter, making the score 6-3, Tacoma.

"We did a lot of things right," said O'Halloran.
