Polonia Sizzles -- Smokes Sounds for 5 Hits
|
Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the San Antonio 's 18-6 win over Nashville today, right fielder Luis Polonia was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Texans Stadium.
"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Polonia said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."
Luis Polonia singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.
This season Polonia is batting .419 with 1 home run.
