The Tacoma Rainiers got a magnificent effort from pitcher Bryan Hickerson, who kept Tucson hitters in check en route to a 2-0 Rainiers win at Ballpark of Louisville. The third-place Tarantulas have lost 5 consecutive games.
Hickerson gave Tacoma a solid start. The left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 7 innings.
