Multi-HR Game for Caminiti in 6-4 Win
|
The Milwaukee Creams defeated the Charlotte Knights, 6-4, at Milwaukee County Stadium. Milwaukee designated hitter Ken Caminiti was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 3-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Milwaukee reliever Jeff Calhoun was the winner. His record is now 3-1. The losing pitcher was Chris Bosio. Steve Bedrosian earned the save for Milwaukee, his 4th of the year.
Caminiti had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the sixth inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Creams went on to win.
"Hitting, winning. It's just contagious," said Caminiti.
Milwaukee is off to a hot start at 17-8.
