San Antonio right-hander Les Lancaster made an effective start against the Omaha Storm Chasers at Maples Stadium, leading his team to a 5-3 win. Lancaster, now 11-2, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 3, walking 3, and allowing 3 earned runs. Jeff Shaw was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 16 of 20 save opportunities.
