Missions designated hitter Kelly Stinnett put his stamp on his team's 21-14 win over the Tucson Tarantulas. Stinnett was 4-5 with a home run, 3 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5 for San Antonio in the contest. San Antonio reliever Graeme Lloyd picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Keith Foulke shouldered the loss. Tucson's current losing streak is now 5 games.
In the top of the tenth, Mike Difelice had a big run-scoring single off Keith Foulke. With the single, the San Antonio catcher put his team in front, 15-14. He went 1 for 6, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once in the contest.
