Storm Chasers Win, Blanco goes 3-for-4
The Omaha Storm Chasers topped the Spokane River Rats, 6-1, in Pacific action at Maples Stadium. The player of the game was Omaha third baseman Henry Blanco. Tony J. Castillo got the save, his 19th in 20 chances. Omaha's record now stands at 40-55, placing them 4th in the Pacific Central.

Omaha designated hitter Javier Valentin had a key at-bat for the Storm Chasers in the bottom of the sixth inning. Facing Spokane pitcher Kirk Rueter, Valentin hit a sacrifice fly to make the score 2-1, Omaha. For the day, he drove in one run.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Valentin said after the game.
