Takehiro Ishii of the New York Mets was the King of the Hill today at RFK Stadium.

The New York starter dominated the Washington Senators, giving up zero hits in his 11-0 victory.

"The toughest part was the last couple of innings," Ishii recounted after the game. "You know you have a no-hitter going, and so does everybody in the ballpark. That was the hard part, keeping focused and concentrating while your heart is pounding."

Ishii recorded 10 strikeouts and 1 walk in the game.

On the season Ishii has a 3-0 record with a 2.35 ERA.
