San Antonio Missions starter Jack Armstrong was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Colorado Springs Sky Fox, 3-2. Reliever Jason Jacome picked up the win. His record improves to 4-3. Jimmy Jones took the loss. San Antonio is second in the Pacific Central with a record of 54-41.

The San Antonio win was a team effort. It included major contributions from, among others, Damian Jackson. In the bottom of the eighth, the San Antonio center fielder came to bat and hit a run-scoring double. It staked his team to a 3-2 lead.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Jackson said.
