The Spokane River Rats grabbed a 11-6 win over the Salt Lake City Buzz at Foxes Ballpark. Spokane center fielder Gene Kingsale was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once to earn player of the game honors. Spokane reliever Doug Brocail picked up the win, upping his record to 4-2. Ben Rivera was saddled with the loss.
