The Round Rock Express did just enough to secure a 7-6 victory over the Walla Walla Warriors at Alleycats Ballpark. Nobody did more than right fielder Rich Becker, who captured player of the game honors. The current losing streak for Walla Walla has reached 4 games.

The Express were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when shortstop Onix Concepcion turned a 2-1 slider from Jerry DiPoto into a 2-run double. The walk-off double sent a roar through the crowd and gave Round Rock a thrilling 7-6 win.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Becker, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
