5 Straight Wins for River Rats
|
A 3-RBI performance from Luis M. Lopez helped the Spokane River Rats beat the Tucson Tarantulas, 12-4. Don August sewed up the save, his 2nd. The first-place River Rats have won 5 consecutive games.
Lopez went 2-4 with a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 against the Tarantulas. With the game tied in the bottom of the fifth inning, he hit a 2-run double that scored 2 and put Spokane in front, 6-4.
"I believe in our guys," said Spokane skipper . "I like the energy they're playing with."
