The River Rats had to overcome a fine performance from Tucson pitcher Bob Wolcott to grab a 4-3 win at Foxes Ballpark. Wolcott allowed 1 earned run over 5.2 innings. Spokane reliever Doug Brocail picked up the win to move to 5-2. James Baldwin suffered the loss. Tucson's current losing streak is now 4 games.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Spokane right fielder Michael Tucker, facing Tim VanEgmond, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the River Rats the 4-3 win.

"I like our resilience," said Tucker.
