Buzz Stymie New Orleans, Take 4-1 Win
|
Salt Lake City Buzz starter Ben Rivera turned in a top-notch performance against the New Orleans Brass at Bella Vista Grounds. The result was a win for the Buzz, 4-1. The Buzz are now 50-51, while the Brass fall to 62-39.
The Buzz got an important contribution from right fielder Emil Brown, who in the bottom of the fourth knocked a full count slider into left for a solo home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Buzz ahead, 2-1.
"We put together a nice win," Brown said.
