Chukars Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Missions
The Idaho Falls Chukars downed the San Antonio Missions, 9-3, at Texans Stadium. Dave Hajek led the way, going 2-for-4 for Idaho Falls. Phil Leftwich picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 7-7. Graeme Lloyd was tagged with the loss. With the win, the Chukars have a record of 41-61.

With two out in the top of the eighth, Dax Jones had a game-changing hit. The Chukars designated hitter slammed a 2-run triple off Steve Olin, making the score 5-3, Idaho Falls.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Hajek.
