5-Hit Blitz by Salt Lake City's Walton
|
Salt Lake City Buzz left fielder Jerome Walton really lit up the Tucson Tarantulas with a 5-hit barrage today at Ballpark of Louisville -- a performance that sparked the Buzz to a 30-12 triumph.
He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes."
Jerome Walton singled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off James Baldwin in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th, walked in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.
This year Walton has hit 2 home runs and posted a .362 batting average.
