San Antonio Missions starter Luis Aquino turned in a sterling performance against the Omaha Storm Chasers, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. Aquino got the win, improving to 3-3. He allowed 3 hits and walked 2 over 6 innings. Aquino allowed 2 earned runs. Heathcliff Slocumb notched his 12th save in 15 chances.

Damian Jackson was vital part of the San Antonio win. He was 2 for 5 with a double. In the top of the second with two out, Jackson hit a run-scoring double. It made the score 3-0, in favor of the Missions.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said San Antonio manager .

The Missions bumped their record to 58-47 with this latest triumph.
