Reds Win Thriller, 6-3
The Cleveland Spiders got a superb performance from pitcher Pete Schourek. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Cincinnati. The Reds won the game, 6-3. In spite of the loss, Schourek was named the player of the game. He threw 7 innings of 2-hit ball. The winner was Doug Henry in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Sterling Hitchcock took the loss. The Spiders fall to 10-15 and continue their uneasy start to the 1995 season.

Cincinnati took a 6-3 lead on David Segui's 4th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Cleveland pitcher Sterling Hitchcock in the bottom of the tenth.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Segui.
