Benes Dazzles in Orlando Win
The Orlando Sun Rays got a strong performance from pitcher Andy Benes, who stymied the Cincinnati offense en route to a 2-1 win at Orlando Citrus Bowl. The Sun Rays raised their record to 65-72.

Benes was effective against the Reds, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited Cincinnati to just 1 run on 3 hits over 8 innings.
