Buzz Win Again, Extend Streak to 6
|
The Salt Lake City Buzz topped the Nashville Sounds, 5-3, in Pacific action at Bella Vista Grounds. The player of the game was Salt Lake City pitcher and Springfield, Massachusetts native Tyler Green. Bob Ayrault, credited with the save, is now 2 for 3 in save opportunities. The 4th-place Buzz now have a 6-game winning streak.
The Buzz beat the Sounds with some clutch hitting. The home run by Emil Brown in the bottom of the first is a good example. With two down, Brown gave his team the lead, 3-0, when he came through with the big hit.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Brown. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
