Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Michael Tucker, the Spokane River Rats defeated the Naperville Lazy Fisherman, 14-10. Tucker was 3-6 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 6 RBI and scoring once for the River Rats. Spokane reliever Ricky Trlicek was credited with the win, to go to 6-1. Blas Minor took the loss for Naperville. Spokane leads the Pacific West by 9 games.

With no one out in the top of the 11th, Doug Brady hit a go-ahead run-scoring single. It was his 90th hit of the season and with it the River Rats took a 10-9 lead.
