The Spokane River Rats topped the Naperville Lazy Fisherman, 4-0, in Pacific action at Ballpark of Milton. The player of the game was Spokane pitcher and Monticello, Minnesota native Billy Taylor. Taylor went 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 0, and struck out 2. His record improves to 2-0. The first-place River Rats, at 71-39, now lead their division by 9½ games.
