Round Rock right-hander Kent Bottenfield made an effective start against the Omaha Storm Chasers at Alleycats Ballpark, leading his team to a 4-2 win. Alberto Reyes got the save, his 20th in 23 chances. The 4th-place Express now have a win-loss record of 60-48.

Round Rock took a 4-2 lead on Les Norman's 99th hit of the season. The 2-run single, which Norman hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Omaha pitcher Dave Veres shaking his head.

"We did enough to win," said Norman.
