Sounds Win at San Antonio , 6-4
|
The Nashville Sounds defeated the San Antonio Missions, 6-4, in Pacific action at Texans Stadium, with Nashville pitcher Chris Bosio named player of the game. Bosio, now 2-4, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 0, walking 2, and allowing 1 earned run. The Sounds move to 56-53 with the win, while the Missions drop to 61-48.
Danny Bautista contributed to the Sounds cause with a productive at-bat in the top of the third inning. With the bases loaded, he reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run, giving Nashville the lead.
"I felt good up there," said Bautista. "I saw the ball well."
