Omaha got a terrific game from third baseman Hensley Meulens. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Round Rock, 5-4. Meulens was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He was 4 for 5 with 4 singles and a walk. Round Rock is now riding a 3-game win streak.

With two out in the bottom of the 11th, Les Norman stroked a go-ahead run-scoring single. It was his 102nd hit of the season and put Round Rock in front, 5-4.
