Chukars Need Extra Frames to Get Past River Rats
Spokane designated hitter Andy Fox was sensational. He was 2-5 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Idaho Falls beat the River Rats, 8-5. Fox was named the player of the game despite the loss. With the win, Idaho Falls goes to 43-68, while the River Rats fall to 71-40.

With two out in the top of the 11th, Dax Jones hit a go-ahead run-scoring single. It was his 67th hit of the season and with it the Chukars took a 6-5 lead.
