Rockies Topple Dodgers with Late Rally
Mile High Stadium was the site of a competitive game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Colorado Rockies.

Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Todd Helton, the Colorado Rockies defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers, 5-4. Helton went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks for the Rockies. Reliever Tony Fossas picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Scott Radinsky took the loss.

Helping the Colorado cause was Dmitri Young. In the bottom of the eighth, the 23-year old right fielder had a run-scoring double to make the score 5-4, Rockies.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Young told the Colorado News.

The loss lowers the Los Angeles record to 12-14.
