Buzz Squelch Missions Offense in Shutout Win
|
The Salt Lake City Buzz got a good effort from starter Mike Oquist in defeating the San Antonio Missions at Bella Vista Grounds. The final score was 5-0. The win puts the Buzz at 59-53, while the Missions drop to 62-50.
Reggie B. Williams aided the Salt Lake City cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder drew 1 walk.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Oquist.
