Storm Chasers Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Lazy Fisherman
|
Omaha starter Jeff M. Robinson pitched effectively against the Naperville Lazy Fisherman at Ballpark of Milton. The right-hander led his team to a 6-5 win. Robinson went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 7-13. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Storm Chasers.
It could have been a different outcome for Omaha, had it not been for Kerwin Moore, the 25-year old center fielder . Moore contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth inning to put Omaha up, 3-1.
"We'll savor this win," Moore told the Omaha Times, "then get ready for the next game."
