Chukars Bang Out 6-2 Win Versus Tucson
The Idaho Falls Chukars topped the Tucson Tarantulas, 6-2, in Pacific action at Alleycats Ballpark. The player of the game was Idaho Falls second baseman Mark Lewis. Jim Pittsley picked up the win with 6 innings of work. He allowed 1 earned run on 5 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 3. On the season, he is now 6-12. The Chukars improve their record to 45-69 with the win over Tucson.

Lewis contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Idaho Falls in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Lewis took a curveball from Matt Wagner and stroked the home run to center. His 6th home run of the season allowed the Chukars to leap in front, 4-1.
