The Portland Stag and New Orleans Brass played an exciting game at Bay Hawks Ballpark.

Portland starter Dave Burba had a strong outing against the New Orleans Brass at Bay Hawks Ballpark. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. Todd Burns earned his 4th save in 6 chances.

The Stag got a big boost from center fielder Brian R. Hunter who had a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning off Brass hurler Tim Davis. It was his 9th hit of the season and put Portland on top, 3-2.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Portland manager .

Portland is now 66-50.
