Donnell Neal made an impact in the 8-6 Nashville win over Round Rock. Neal went 2 for 2 with 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs. Dario Veras picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 6-2. Kent Bottenfield was tagged with the loss. The Sounds bumped their record to 70-46 with this latest triumph.

The game was at a stalemate until designated hitter Shinya Miyamoto came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Round Rock pitcher Kent Bottenfield, he hit a full count curveball for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Nashville on top, 8-6.

"This was a good win for us," said Neal. "It's one more step toward our ultimate goal."
