The Nashville Sounds got a stellar performance from pitcher Esteban Loaiza, who handcuffed the Naperville offense en route to a 3-2 win at Red Devils Stadium. Nashville is in second place in the Pacific Central with a record of 72-47.

Joe Ayrault, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 1995 draft, helped out the Nashville cause in the bottom of the ninth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the catcher was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Loaiza said.
