Reds Deal Spiders Painful Loss
The Cincinnati Reds eked out a 4-3 win versus the Cleveland Spiders at Riverfront Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Joey Hamilton, who captured player of the game honors. Cincinnati reliever Todd Worrell picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Nate Minchey shouldered the loss. The Spiders fall to 10-16 and continue their lackluster start to the 1995 season.

Craig Grebeck, who led the FL in doubles with 55 in 1992, chipped in for Cincinnati with a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI.
