Nelson Shuts Out Spokane
|
The New Orleans Brass rolled to an easy 5-0 win over the Spokane River Rats at Bay Hawks Ballpark today. Leading the way to victory was starter Gene Nelson, who shackled the Spokane River Rats and held them scoreless on a 3-hitter.
"This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Nelson said in his postgame press conference.
