Lazy Fisherman Beat Visiting Buzz, 7-4
|
A 4-RBI performance from the 26-year old left fielder Matt Luke helped the Naperville Lazy Fisherman beat the Salt Lake City Buzz, 7-4. Naperville reliever Cory Bailey was credited with the win, to go to 2-5. Ben Rivera took the loss for Salt Lake City. Salt Lake City's current losing streak has reached 4 games.
Luke had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-0 changeup from Ben Rivera, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Lazy Fisherman a 7-3 lead. It was the 24th home run of the year for Luke.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Luke told the Naperville Daily.
