Neagle Sensational for Royals
|
Kansas City beat Texas on the strength of starter Denny Neagle's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a 5-1 win. The Rangers fall to 12-15 and continue their uneasy start to the 1995 season.
Neagle, who leads the FL with a 4 complete games, pitched a complete game for Kansas City. Neagle surrendered 3 hits over 9 innings and struck out 7. With the win, he moves to 4-1 on the season.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Kansas City skipper Daniel Drucker.
