Storm Chasers Win to Extend Series Lead to 3-0
The Omaha Storm Chasers moved to within one game of the League Championship Series today, downing the San Antonio Missions on the road at Texans Stadium by a score of 8-3. Storm Chasers right-hander Clint Zavaras was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 9 innings of 7-hit ball. The win gives the Storm Chasers a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-5 Division Series.

Omaha used the clutch hitting of Kevin Maas to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to give the Storm Chasers the lead, 3-0. For the game, Maas had 2 singles and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Zavaras.
