Almost There: Buffalo On Cusp of CS Triumph After 10-1 Win
Riding the 2-hit performance of first baseman Kevin McReynolds, the Buffalo Bisons got a road win against the Danville Dairy Daddies, 10-1, in Game 4 of the League Championship Series today. McReynolds went 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Bisons, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 1.

The Bisons took a 4-0 lead in the top of the third inning. Facing Danville hurler Scott Kamieniecki with no outs, McReynolds hit a 2-run home run.

"We did a lot of things right," said McReynolds.

The next game is scheduled for tomorrow at Kernels Ballpark in Danville. The scheduled starters for the game are Mark Gardner for Buffalo and Mark Thompson for Danville.
