2B Brady, River Rats Destroy Lazy Fisherman 11-1 to Force Game 5
|
With first baseman Doug Brady leading the charge, the Spokane River Rats got a road win over the Naperville Lazy Fisherman, 11-1, in Game 4 of the Division Series today. Brady was 3 for 5 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times at Ballpark of Milton to help Spokane force a 2-2 tie in the best-of-5 series.
Mark Dalesandro chipped in for Spokane, stroking a crucial run-scoring double in the top of the second inning. For the game, the catcher was 2 for 5 with a double.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said River Rats manager , "I like our chances."
Game 5 is set to be played Tuesday at Foxes Ballpark in Spokane. Slated to start are Charles Nagy for the Naperville Lazy Fisherman and John Mitchell for the the Spokane River Rats.
