Road Win Lifts Round Rock to 1-0 Lead in DS
The Round Rock Express started the Division Series in style today, winning on the road against the Nashville Sounds at Red Devils Stadium by a score of 6-2 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Express left-hander Angel Miranda was named player of the game after he threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball.

The result might have been different for Round Rock, had it not been for Jose Lind. The second baseman produced a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put the Express ahead, 3-0. For the game, Lind had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

Miranda said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."

Game 2 is scheduled for tomorrow in Nashville. The scheduled starters for the game are Amaury Telemaco for the Round Rock Express and Esteban Loaiza for the the Nashville Sounds.
