Bisons Clip Sounds 6-5 in WS Contest
The Buffalo Bisons and the Nashville Sounds will take the World Series to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation today, the Bisons beat the Sounds 6-5 at Red Devils Stadium to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Buffalo center fielder Manny Martinez was named player of the game in the win after he was 3-5 with 3 singles. He scored 2 runs.

Buffalo used the timely hitting of Gerald Williams to capture the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Bisons on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

"Winning is contagious," said Williams. "We're looking forward to the next game."

The next game is scheduled for tomorrow. Slated to start are Mac Suzuki for the Buffalo Bisons and Paul Wilson for the the Nashville Sounds.
